Tyre balancing

Balanced tyres make your car safer and more comfortable — and help protect wheel bearings, suspension and other chassis parts.

Tyre balancing

Balanced tyres make your car safer

If the steering wheel shakes at certain speeds, unbalanced wheels are a common cause. Regular balancing improves driving comfort and helps you stay focused on the road — especially on gravel, ice or uneven surfaces.

Better for your car’s components

Unbalanced wheels create vibration that transfers into the chassis. Over time this can accelerate wear on wheel bearings, suspension arms and related parts. Balancing directs the rotating forces correctly through the tyre contact patch.

When to balance

Balancing is especially important after mounting tyres on rims, after impacts (potholes/kerbs), or whenever you notice vibration. We recommend checking balance as part of seasonal change and rim mounting.
